About KG Fletcher
“The Singing Author,” KG Fletcher, lives in her very own frat house in Atlanta, GA with her husband Ladd, and three sons. As a singer/songwriter, she became a recipient of the “Airplay International Award” for “Best New Artist” showcasing original songs at The Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN. She earned her BFA in theater at Valdosta State University and has traveled the world professionally as a singer/actress. KG currently gets to play rock star as a backup singer in the National Tour, “Remember When Rock Was Young – the Elton John Tribute."
KG is a hopeless romantic. When she’s not on the road singing, she’s probably at home daydreaming about her swoony book boyfriends or arranging a yummy charcuterie board while sipping red wine and listening to Frank Sinatra. KG loves to interact with readers on social media and share her writing and singing journey.
She has 14 published books (Contemporary Romance and Time Travel Romance). Three are standalone, and four are series. She’s currently working on book three in her newest series.

Pondering Creativity with KG Fletcher
Each week, we ask the authors we interview a series of prompted questions about their creative journey. Their responses are not edited and intend to continue the conversation about what it means to live and write creatively.
What does the word "creativity" mean in your world?
Creativity is being able to use my God-given talents to create music and stories I can share with the world. It's tapping into a personal space and being vulnerable with my art, taking chances, and not being afraid of what others think.
Define your version of "success" in writing and pursuing creativity.
Success is being able to create daily with the support of my family.
What is the biggest thing that keeps you from your creative goals?
Imposter syndrome - it hits me at the most inopportune times (usually when I have a deadline) I have to remind myself of my unique abilities and keep forging ahead with my goals.
How do you hope to contribute to the literary community through your craft?
My goal is to promote love. As a romance author, I give the reader hope with a happily ever after. I'm all about chivalry and respect, monogamy, and safe sex. And let's not forget the romance! I want my readers to have a safe place to go to forget about life for a while and escape into my fictional worlds.
What would you say to someone who wants to pursue creativity but lacks confidence?
You have to go for it. Without a doubt, there are going to be people out there who hate your work. But then again, there will be people who absolutely love it. Concentrate on the ones who love what you do - that's your audience. Screw the rest, LOL!
