Christine Minucci

Memoir

Christine Minucci is a wife and mother of two young girls, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a survivor and warrior of an AVM. After being diagnosed in November of 2014 and surviving the brain aneurysm rupture in March of 2015, Christine had to adjust to a life she never imagined for herself.

Prior to diagnosis, Christine was a teacher’s assistant to nursery-school-level children, focusing mostly on children with special needs. After the rupture, her life changed drastically. AVM slowed her abilities down, and she found herself unable to do many of the things that used to drive her--like reading.

However, Christine believes that writing is the only creative venture that her body will not give up on. She is treading on as she writes her very first memoir about her condition, Mommy, You Can Read? It is set to be released in the Spring of 2024.
