venus rising musings and lore from women writers anthologies by women our galaxy publishing

Our Galaxy Publishing wrote a book with some of their favorite women writers.

Venus Rising: Musings & Lore from Women Writers is available now.

Our Galaxy Publishing exists to provide a space for innovative, dynamic women to amplify their voices and be heard the way they want to be heard; for their truth, trauma, healing, and strength. The press advocates for storytelling in its rawest form, creating a platform where women can speak their minds, build a community without stigma or shame, or care for that which is taboo. It’s designed to be a place where vast stories can be told without feeling boxed into any confines outside ourselves.

We connect with storytelling because we’re all seeking an explanation and purpose for our human experience, searching for a way to make sense of self. Stories remind us of who we are and how we got here. They bring individuals together, conveying the values and insights that unite us. Through stories, we cultivate new ways to grow.

This anthology encapsulates the voices of over 50 women from throughout the United States and over five countries around the world. They are of different ages, lifestyles, cultural backgrounds, and personal values. Across more than ten genres of writing, each woman has given us a piece of themselves.

They are symbolic of what it means to embrace the power of telling the untold story, to shed light on the parts of ourselves that have been shoved in the dark. There should be no box with a lid for some stories to be hidden, and the contributing authors you’ll be reading have put a spotlight on it all.

The divine feminine in us will not allow us to hide. She is a monarch of expressiveness. She is sensitive by nature, nurturing through an instinct that creates space for compassion. As a heart-centered intuit, the divine feminine reflects on the power of shared wisdom and innovation.

And she sits close to the sun. Taking in the heat, and basking in the light, the divine feminine reigns through Venus, accentuating love as it orbits.

We are the divine feminine rising in Venus. We are healing and harmonizing the truth of our star-born journeys, collectively shooting for the beauty in our lessons learned. Accumulative insight passes down our celestial bodies, each in tune with our unique motions while still moving together.

Our stories combine in the foreground of our transcendence, exhibiting an array of odysseys trudged through infinities of unknown planes divine feminine must cross to ascend.

But those tales are no longer untold. They are Venus Rising.

I am so proud of all the women who are a part of this with us.

About Venus Rising: Musings & Lore from Women Writers

"Our Galaxy Publishing presents a noteworthy, honest recount of lessons and lore from influential women writers breaking barriers and amplifying their voices collectively."

When a Venus woman rises, she is in power to express herself. She is honing her passion, desires, and truth, ever-changing and evolving. A woman rising in Venus controls her narrative, telling stories to communicate her truth, breathing life into the values that unite her with other transcending women.

The stories of these women speak to the beauty and pain, the guts and glory, the thriving and striving of all it means to be in this embodiment. Venus Rising is an anthological collection of inspiring women writers who shine a light on their inner verities and lay their wounds bare for us all. Enter their world, see through their eyes, and rise like Goddess Venus herself.

100% of the proceeds are donated to Dorill Initiative, a New York City-based multidisciplinary 501c3 nonprofit organization and collective movement fostering a community that empowers young individuals to share their stories and express themselves through various art forms.
