1. What can I ask during the consultation?

This call is your chance to ask questions about Our Galaxy Publishing’s services, including editing, publishing, or mentorship. You can also come with a quick question or two about your writing or publishing journey! Some examples of what you might ask include:

  • What should I expect from the editing process?

  • How can I start building my author platform?

  • What are the pros and cons of self-publishing vs. traditional publishing?

  • How do I know if my manuscript is ready for submission or self-publishing?

  • What kind of support do you offer to aspiring authors looking for mentorship?

While you're welcome to bring two questions, please note that sometimes we may only have time to address one in the 20 minutes, depending on the depth of the question.

2. What will we actually do on the call?

During the consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to ask your questions and get some initial guidance. Whether you’re looking for advice on your manuscript or insights into our services, we’ll do our best to provide clear and actionable information in the time we have.

If you have multiple questions, we’ll aim to address the most pressing one first. If time allows, we can touch on the second question. We want to make sure you leave the call with useful information, no matter how much we’re able to cover.

3. How do I book the call after filling out the questions?

Once you submit your answers to the brief questions about your needs, you'll receive a link to Christine’s Calendly calendar within 12 hours. From there, you can select a time that works best for your schedule!

4. Is this call really free?

Yes, absolutely! This consultation is completely free. We’re here to make sure we’re the right fit for your needs and that you have the information you need to make an informed decision about working with us.

5. Can I book a follow-up call?

This particular consultation is designed as an initial touchpoint to answer quick questions. If you feel you need more in-depth guidance after the call, we can discuss options for booking additional consultations or mentoring sessions.
